What's your refund policy?
We will issue refunds, no questions asked, up to May 13, 2025 (platform and payment processor fees will be subtracted from the pledge amount).
After that date, the funds raised will be invested in the game’s development and the company’s day-to-day operations. Unless there is a clear fault on our part, sales are considered final for tax purposes.
Packages rejected due to unpaid customs fees, as well as packages delivered to the wrong location because the correct address was not communicated before the deadline, will not be refunded or sent again.
If physical product shipping costs are not settled in BackerKit by the survey deadlines, your physical reward pledge will be converted to a digital reward pledge. There will be no refund for the difference, but any remaining funds will be available for you to spend on other PDF products or converted to store credit.
Physical orders from countries where we do not ship (see Shipping and Fulfillment) will be converted to a digital reward pledge unless a valid address is provided (please make sure before you order). There will be no refund for tariffs. We reserve the right to decide each case on its own merits.

I live in the USA. Will I be impacted by tariffs?
At the moment, the situation regarding tariffs remains uncertain. The announcements made on April 2 suggest that tariffs may apply regardless of where goods are produced. However, some early assessments (see: https://www.rascal.news/tabletop-publishers-believe-rpg-books-are-exempt-from-trump-tariffs-for-now/) indicate that books may be exempt—meaning that if you add one of our previous titles to your order, it’s likely to avoid additional fees. That said, other items like boxes, dice, and paper products appear to be affected.
Unfortunately, under the current Trump administration, policies have proven to be volatile and subject to rapid change. While we hope that some of these short-sighted and harmful decisions will be reconsidered or rolled back in the coming months, we simply can’t predict the situation with any certainty at the time we’ll need to move into production and shipping.
To be clear: even experts in the field do not yet have a definitive answer. Much will depend on future decisions made by the U.S. government, and conditions may shift significantly between now and fulfillment.
Please also keep in mind that tariffs are a tax paid by you, the American consumer—not the exporter. In all honesty, calling them a “Trump Tax” would be more accurate.
So, is there a chance a tariff might apply? Yes. Is it guaranteed? No. We’re committed to absorbing some of the added costs, within a reasonable margin that still allows us to stay afloat. But we can’t—and frankly shouldn’t—be expected to bear unsustainable losses after years of work, especially due to policy decisions we had no control over.
Whatever happens, you’ll see any changes reflected transparently in the Pledge Manager, and we’ll keep you fully informed about how we plan to soften the impact of these decisions as we move forward. We’ll do everything in our power to minimize any extra charges—but we can’t undo harmful policy from the top.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
